Based on Government Decree 87/2015 (IV. 9.), higher education institutions are required to prepare an institutional information guide. “The institutional information guide must be prepared in Hungarian and at least one foreign language (preferably English). The guide must present general information about the higher education institution and, separated by academic periods, information specific to each program.”

Each course syllabus must describe the intended learning outcomes, mid-term requirements, and provide sufficient detail to allow decision-making as required by Section 49 (5) of the Higher Education Act. This includes the knowledge to be acquired, the (partial) skills and (partial) competences (attitudes, views, autonomy and responsibility) to be acquired; the methods of assessment and their schedule; the learning materials available; all of which are included in the course syllabi. The syllabi are accessible in the VÉF NEPTUN system after login. Descriptions of VÉF programs and their learning outcomes are available on departmental pages, under the KÉPZÉSEINK menu.
