About the Department
In 2021, the Archiepiscopal College of Veszprém established the Department of Theology to coordinate, organize, and provide tasks related to the training of teachers of religious education and theologians, as well as the specialized further education in religious life.
Through the Department of Theology, the Archiepiscopal College of Veszprém provides:
- organization of the Teacher of Religious Education program and other training in religious life;
- organization of entrance examinations, career suitability hearings, and coordination of admissions and transfers;
- processes related to credit recognition and final examinations;
- educational and training organization tasks related to further education in religious life;
- in coordination with the Department of Pedagogy, participation in the organization, supervision, and evaluation of the individual continuous school practice of the Teacher of Religious Education program;
- monitoring student progress, conducting satisfaction surveys, and career tracking.
